Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our patient care standards meet regulatory requirements and organizational policies. This position requires a strong understanding of medical documentation, patient care, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. The Quality Assurance Nurse will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Duties

Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Review patient care processes and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations in all aspects of patient documentation and communication.
Provide training and support to staff on best practices in medical documentation and quality assurance protocols.
Analyze data related to patient care and outcomes, preparing reports for management review.
Stay updated on current trends in healthcare quality assurance, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management.
Experience in patient care settings is preferred.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels.
Proficient in medical documentation practices.
