Job Title: Google & YouTube Paid Media Specialist

About Us

At Solar Cancellation Resource Center, we help homeowners navigate consumer advocacy matters related to the solar industry. Through our services, we've helped thousands of people address costly and misleading solar contracts by connecting them with experienced legal professionals.

As we scale our marketing efforts, we’re looking for a Google & YouTube Paid Media Specialist to take full ownership of our paid search and video advertising campaigns. If you're data-obsessed, results-driven, and experienced in building high-converting ad funnels, this is your opportunity to have a direct impact on a fast-growing brand.

What You’ll Do

Strategically plan, launch, and manage Google Search and YouTube Ads campaigns, with a strong focus on lead generation and direct response
Own the entire media buying process—from keyword research, targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign setup to daily optimization and scaling
Write compelling ad copy and collaborate with creative and video teams on high-performing ad creatives (video scripts, thumbnails, etc.)
Run A/B and multivariate tests on keywords, audiences, creative, and landing pages
Manage budgets and pacing daily, ensuring efficient spend and ROAS
Monitor key metrics (CPC, CPA, ROAS, bounce rate) and proactively make performance-based adjustments
Create and manage retargeting campaigns using custom and lookalike audiences
Track campaign performance and prepare weekly and monthly reports with insights and actionable recommendations
Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies in both Google Search and YouTube

What You Bring

2–4 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and YouTube Ads for direct response or lead gen
Strong knowledge of keyword strategy, audience segmentation, and bidding optimization
Proven success managing budgets of $100K+ monthly, with a clear understanding of ROI metrics
Experience working with Google Ads Manager, YouTube Ads, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking tools
Ability to write compelling, conversion-focused ad copy and provide creative direction for video assets
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Bonus: Experience in home services, solar, legal, or financial service verticals
