Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our guests. This role requires strong communication with kitchen staff, adherence to food safety protocols, and a passion for food preparation and cooking. Experience in food service, including cooking eggs and other menu items, is preferred.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
Adhere strictly to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines.
Manage food safety by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Ensure safety standards are upheld during all stages of food production to prevent accidents or contamination.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients as needed.
Cook various dishes including eggs and other breakfast or menu items efficiently during service hours.
Support the overall operation of the kitchen by maintaining a positive attitude and working collaboratively with team members.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or as a line cook; familiarity with cooking eggs is a plus.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff effectively.
Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail in food presentation and quality control.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
