Full Job Description

With eight locations and a team of expert RNs, PAs, and NPs, we provide a comprehensive range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including Botox, fillers, regenerative therapies, and advanced skin rejuvenation.

We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our administrative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

Process Semi-Monthly payroll for multi-location, multi-company environment.

Calculate and process final paychecks.

Calculate bonuses for various programs.

Collect and verify employee and timekeeping data.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

Process payroll journal entries for each pay cycle as well as monthly payroll accruals in a timely manner.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, hour laws and best practices.

Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

Identify and recommend updates to payroll process and procedures.

Answer questions and resolve issues regarding payroll, and other related areas.

Process mail, scan, and email documents.

- Performs other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree
Working knowledge of California payroll regulations, including wage and hour laws, overtime, meal and rest break premiums, final pay, and payroll tax compliance.
At least three years accounting experience
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently.
Must be proactive and have a positive attitude
Open-minded and flexible
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Maintains confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure

Salary range 80k-90k
