Gourmet Caramel Apple Maker Wanted!

Are you a creative and passionate foodie looking for a fun and exciting job? Amy's Gourmet Apples in Cedarburg is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Gourmet Caramel Apple Maker in our commercial kitchen facility. We are hiring for daytime shift. Typical shifts are from 8 am to 2 or 3 pm. This job will include occasional weekend work during peak production times.

Our commercial kitchen produces delicious small-batch caramel apples for sales via our nationwide website, as well as, for our local store. We offer a fun and supportive work environment. If you have a passion for food and want to learn how to produce a very high-end delicious product for businesses and consumers, then we want to hear from you.

Being part of Amy's Gourmet Apples' production team requires a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Having food preparation or bakery experience is a plus, but not required! On site training is provided.

Responsibilities:

-Prepare, dip and decorate gourmet caramel apples with a variety of toppings and chocolate

- Ensure quality control and consistency in all products

- Package apples to identify variety

- Routine cleaning of kitchen/ work areas

Requirements:

-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet production goals

- Adhering to food regulations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Basic computer skills

- Availability to work flexible hours, several weekends and preparing for festivals

- Stand for long periods of time

- Able to lift up to 45 lbs.

**Please note: This job may require longer hours during busy times of the year including Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, and any other major holidays.

**Preferred local residents within a 10-15 mile radius around Cedarburg**

*Location: Cedarburg, WI
