Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Counter Clerk to join our bakery team! In this vital customer-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while managing bakery care operations. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure a smooth experience for every customer

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their garment care needs, including dry cleaning, laundry, pressing, and finishing services
Process cash transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and receipts with integrity
Operate pressing machines and garment care equipment safely and efficiently to ensure high-quality results
Maintain a clean workspace by organizing tools, cleaning detergents, and ensuring all areas are tidy and hygienic
Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of garments or supplies to support smooth operations
Ensure proper processing of garments through various machines like fabric care units, presses, and dry cleaning equipment
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly

Skills

Previous front end experience or background in working with customers
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
Strong basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills to interact kindly with customers and team members
Attention to detail in maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring quality standards are met consistently
