Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk (Remote)

Location: Remote, with preference for candidates located in Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible weekday schedule

About Us

We are a growing lawn care and landscape company committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, part-time position that can be performed primarily from home.

Responsibilities

· Process vendor invoices accurately and on time

· Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts

· Prepare and process weekly check and electronic payments

· Maintain vendor files and resolve billing discrepancies

· Reconcile vendor statements

· Enter invoices and payment information into QuickBooks

· Assist with month-end accounts payable reporting

· Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff

· Maintain organized digital records and documentation

· Perform other administrative accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications

· Familiarity with QuickBooks is essential

· Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience is preferred

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

· Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

· High level of integrity and confidentiality
