Full Job Description

Bacchus Management Group is a boutique Bay-Area based restaurant and hospitality business, specializing in food, wine, spirits, coffee, and consulting. Bacchus owns and oversees the operations of several of the most awarded restaurants in Northern California, including Michelin-starred restaurants The Village Pub in Woodside, and Selby’s in Atherton, Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning Spruce in San Francisco. We also operate The Village Bakery in Woodside, and two Pizza Antica locations (Lafayette, San Jose). In addition to our full-service restaurants, Bacchus has a wholesale coffee and custom roasting business, a bespoke chocolate company, and key collaborations with international winemakers and spirits distillers.

Job Summary

The Sous Chef upholds very high standards as they relate to food and product integrity, training, and management of all back of house staff.

You have a strong passion for culinary excellence, and you are exceptionally detailed.
You’re resilient in stressful situations and always able to handle last minute requests.
For more than 4 years, as a chef, you’ve been a key ingredient in the success of a full service, high-volume restaurant.
You have basic knowledge and understanding of financial aspects of business operations.
You are caring, self-motivated and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence.
