Full Job Description

DAY SHIFT

3 12 Hour shifts/week; Days rotate weekly; Includes 1 weekend per month

APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT ENTIRELY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INTERVIEW PROCESS

Scope of Responsibility

In this role, you will take the lead on core clinical pharmacy services, including:

Antibiotic stewardship and therapeutic drug monitoring
Medication consults and drug information support
Renal dosing adjustments and clinical interventions
Verification and dispensing of medication orders
Sterile IV admixture preparation
Patient and staff education on safe medication practices

You will report directly to the Director of Pharmacy and work closely with nurses, physicians and other clinical team members.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas

Training and Experience

IV certification required
Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
Minimum experience: hospital internship rotation
