Job Title: MIG Welder / Fabricator
Location: Brea, CA
Employment Type: Full-time (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: 1st Shift (MondayFriday, 5:00 AM 1:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $21/hour

About the Opportunity-

We are partnering with a leading utility truck and van manufacturer in Brea to find skilled MIG Welders/Fabricators for their 1st shift team. If you’re a certified welder with a passion for precision and fabrication, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with long-term potential.

What You’ll Do:
As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, you’ll be the backbone of our production team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your role will include:

MIG Welding (GMAW) and fabrication of utility boxes and structural components.
Spot welding and finishing processes (grinding, sanding, cleaning).
Reading blueprints, weld symbols, and tape measures to ensure accuracy.
Operating welding machines (Miller, Lincoln, Hobart), angle grinders, and plasma cutters.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking experienced welders who are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality. Ideal candidates will have:

Proven MIG welding experience (GMAW) with a strong portfolio or certifications (AWS, ASME).
Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
Proficiency with welding tools and equipment (Miller, Lincoln, grinders, plasma cutters).
Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
Attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to work overtime/weekends as needed.
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
