Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will craft exceptional beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and hospitality will help foster a lively and welcoming atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience
Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operation
Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments securely, and balance registers at shift end

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in cocktail creation, mixology, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol service regulations
Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and managing cash flow
Previous restaurant or fine dining experience is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Strong math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management
Experience with beverage recipe development and spirits expertise is preferred
Basic math skills necessary for transaction processing; hospitality industry experience is advantageous
