Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team and elevate athletic performance through expert training, personalized program design, and motivational coaching. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all levels, helping them achieve their peak potential in a safe, engaging, and results-driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sports science, biomechanics, and fitness industry best practices, combined with excellent communication skills and a commitment to client success. This paid position provides comprehensive training support and the chance to make a meaningful impact on clients’ physical health and athletic achievements.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement customized strength and conditioning programs tailored to individual athlete needs, goals, and sport-specific demands
Conduct biomechanical assessments to analyze movement patterns, identify weaknesses, and optimize performance
Lead engaging coaching sessions focused on proper technique, body mechanics, heavy lifting safety, and injury prevention
Educate clients on nutrition, physiology, anatomy, and recovery strategies to enhance overall performance
Monitor progress through regular evaluations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement
Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR/AED procedures, manual handling standards, and liability insurance requirements
Build strong client rapport through effective communication, motivation, and exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships

Qualifications

Proven sports coaching experience with a focus on strength training and conditioning
Knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics relevant to athletic performance
Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, manual handling, and liability insurance are required
Experience creating personalized workout plans that incorporate fitness sales techniques for client engagement
Background in personal training or fitness industry experience with gym or health club settings preferred
Ability to teach physical education principles effectively while maintaining high energy levels and motivation
Strong communication skills for client rapport building and coaching in a professional manner
