Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Scottsdale. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can manage the day-to-day accounting functions of our business and ensure accurate financial reporting and cash flow management.

We are an on-demand air charter that currently has a fleet of 12. Aviation knowledge would be an asset.

We are looking for more than an accountant. We want someone who is naturally curious, enjoys improving processes, embraces technology, and actively looks for opportunities to make our accounting and administrative functions more efficient, scalable, and effective. The right candidate will take ownership of their role and help drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all customer invoicing and collections
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Monitor and manage company cash flow
Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
Prepare month-end reports and assist with financial analysis
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and operational efficiency
Recommend and implement process improvements and automation solutions
Help develop best practices for financial and administrative procedures

Qualifications

4+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong knowledge of AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, and cash flow management
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to enhancing operations
