Overview

Join our family oriented automotive dealership team as an Office Manager, where you will work in conjunction with the owner/controller leading the administrative operations that keep our dealership running smoothly and efficiently. This pivotal role combines office management, team supervision, financial oversight, and customer service excellence to create a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. As an energetic leader with a passion for organization and communication, you will ensure all office functions are executed seamlessly, fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting our dealership’s growth.

Duties

Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, filing, and managing confidential information with precision and discretion
Supervise administrative staff, providing training, guidance, and development opportunities to enhance team performance
Handle human resources functions such as payroll processing, employee onboarding, and maintaining personnel records using accounting software like QuickBooks
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records through bookkeeping software and spreadsheets to support budgeting and financial reporting
Oversee office supplies inventory, ensure compliance with company policies, and uphold high standards of customer service in all interactions

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in an office or administrative setting within the automotive industry or related fields
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), spreadsheets, and financial software such as QuickBooks or similar accounting tools. Experience with the Reynolds & Reynolds DMS platform would be beneficial
Demonstrated expertise in office management tasks including calendar management, filing systems, and clerical duties
Background in human resources functions like payroll administration, employee training & development, and handling confidential information
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, vendors, and stakeholders
Prior experience managing budgets, bookkeeping processes, and financial reporting within a fast-paced environment
