Experienced Automotive Mechanic – Classic Cars & Custom Builds

H.S. Customs | Logan, Utah

Pay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour (DOE)

We're looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges, and wants to be part of a team that values excellence over shortcuts.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, repair, and build classic and custom vehicles.
Perform engine, transmission, and drivetrain swaps.
Install and modify fuel delivery, steering, brake, and suspension systems.
Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles.
Work alongside our fabrication and restoration teams to create one-of-a-kind builds.
Maintain exceptional workmanship and attention to detail on every project.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who:

Has 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
Has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Is experienced with both gasoline and diesel systems.
Is comfortable performing custom mechanical modifications and thinking creatively.
Understands steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain systems.
Has experience with engine and transmission swaps.
Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
Maintains a positive attitude and works well with others.
Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Owns their own professional tools.
Is passionate about classic cars, hot rods, and custom vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications

ASE Certifications
Manufacturer-specific training
Performance or restoration experience
Metal fabrication or welding experience

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to:

Lift up to 75 pounds.
Stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
Safely operate automotive shop equipment including lifts, presses, grinders, welders, pneumatic tools, saws, and other shop machinery.
Work in varying shop temperatures while properly using required safety equipment.
