Join a dynamic and growing company where your leadership, project management expertise, and land development experience will directly contribute to the successful delivery of innovative residential communities. As a Land Development Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating land development activities from initial planning through final completion while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and municipal requirements.

This position is central to supporting land development operations through project management, consultant coordination, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and collaboration with internal departments and external agencies. The Land Development Manager will work closely with land acquisition, planning and entitlement, construction, finance, legal, engineers, contractors, municipalities, and utility providers to support the successful execution of development projects and operational objectives.

Responsibilities include managing land development projects and schedules; coordinating engineering, permitting, site development, and infrastructure activities; overseeing consultants, contractors, and vendor relationships; and monitoring project budgets, approvals, and timelines. The Land Development Manager will also coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with development requirements, permits, and approvals while maintaining accurate reporting, project tracking, and documentation throughout the development process.

Additional responsibilities include supporting due diligence and pre-construction activities, reviewing construction drawings and development plans, processing contracts and invoices, attending project and municipal meetings, identifying and resolving development challenges, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, workflow coordination, and project execution across multiple communities and development projects.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills along with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Candidates should demonstrate accountability, adaptability, relationship-building abilities, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Previous experience in land development, civil construction, project management, residential development, or a related field is strongly preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field is preferred along with experience managing development schedules, budgets, contractors, permitting processes, and municipal coordination activities. Knowledge of residential land development operations, infrastructure construction, and development regulations is highly desirable.
