Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Estimator & Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. This role is crucial to ensuring accurate cost estimation and assisting in the management of projects, from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret civil and architectural drawings to create accurate estimates for projects.
Collaborate with project managers to develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resources.
Perform quantity take-offs, prepare bids, and work with subcontractors and vendors to gather pricing and ensure cost accuracy.
Utilize software such as Excel, Word, Adobe, and other estimation tools (CAD and Agtek proficiency is a plus).
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners, providing updates and ensuring alignment on project requirements.
Assist with site inspections, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines.
Represent the company professionally on-site and during client meetings.

Qualifications

Required Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction with a solid understanding of the industry.
Proven ability to read and interpret civil and architectural drawings.
Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
A strong desire to learn, grow, and adapt to evolving industry standards.
Highly detail-oriented and organized.
Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
