Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will help deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting that values teamwork and innovation.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning according to recipes and menu specifications
Assist in assembling dishes quickly and accurately during service hours
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently
Follow food safety protocols and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
Support the culinary team with menu planning ideas and ingredient prep for upcoming shifts
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or culinary environments, including restaurant or catering experience
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation
Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and food industry best practices
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
