Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for an Implementation Communication Consultant to work in Smithfield, RI!

The Role

As an Implementation Communications Consultant, you will build and complete the participant communications strategy during a plan’s transition to a new record-keeper, new plan, or both. You will deliver high quality, critical information to plan participants, via email and print delivery, during periods of change. Your focus will be on corporate actions with existing Fidelity clients.

Coordinate with the client on a communication & education strategy for the project, uncovering key client priorities and needs
Highlight Fidelity's customization abilities and build into the strategy (where applicable) while positioning Fidelity’s standard processes
Review project requirements and estimate the client cost to complete, by building a communications project plan or timeline, securing communication requirements and providing status updates throughout the life of the project
Acquire client, plan and project information from the client, internal partners, and prior record-keeper to develop communications
Draft communications, employee meeting presentations, and other informational components ensuring cost efficiencies
Review communications with Fidelity legal/compliance, internal service team and the client
Coordinate production, setup, and delivery of communications
Hold communication collaborators accountable for delivery dates and document completion dates

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Experience in employee benefits communication and/or financial services preferred
At least 2 years communications consulting experience preferred
Confirmed project management experience required
Confirmed understanding of communication processes from writing and editing through distribution across print and email
Ability to write and/or edit readable, user-friendly copy
Ability to think critically and make decisions independently
Knowledge of the communications and financial industry standards
Consultative selling skills and experience
Strong client servicing skills

The Team

You will work with multiple client projects simultaneously, depending on the level of complexity. Your efforts will help Fidelity profitability by offering efficient, digital solutions that engage participants. You will partner internally with key business partners in implementation, including legal and production to meet client expectations. You will partner externally with key collaborators like plan sponsors, consultants, and Fidelity’s vendors.
