Front Desk Receptionist – Overnight Shift

Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday
Days Off: Monday & Tuesday
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dependable, friendly, and professional Overnight Front Desk Receptionist to join our hotel team.

As the primary point of contact for our guests during the overnight hours, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting guests with their needs, and helping ensure the hotel operates smoothly and safely throughout the night.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, communicates well with guests and coworkers, and can remain organized and attentive during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
Check guests in and out of the hotel
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest questions
Assist with reservations, room assignments, and guest requests
Address guest concerns and resolve minor issues when possible
Process payments and maintain accurate guest information
Monitor the front desk and hotel common areas during overnight hours
Complete required overnight front desk paperwork and reports
Communicate important information to the morning shift and hotel management
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures
Perform other front desk duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working overnight hours
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic computer and typing skills
Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns
Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
Must be available to work the scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift

Compensation & Schedule

Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

This is a consistent overnight position working five days per week:

Wednesday – Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Monday & Tuesday: Off

We are looking for someone who values reliability, professionalism, and great customer service. If you enjoy helping people and are comfortable working independently during overnight hours, we encourage you to apply.
