Full Job Description

Civil CAD Designer – Northern Virginia

Responsibilities:

Prepare civil engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Develop grading, drainage, utility, erosion & sediment control, and site layout plans.
Assist engineers with design calculations and plan production.
Revise drawings based on client and agency comments.
Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers throughout project development.
Ensure drawings meet company, client, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

1–20 years of Civil CAD drafting/design experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
Experience with land development, site design, or civil infrastructure projects preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
