Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Restaurant & Sports Bar General Manager to lead our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food and beverage management, and a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your leadership will drive team performance, maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and foster a fun yet professional environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated manager with a passion for the food and beverage industry to make a significant impact in a fast-paced sports bar setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning while maintaining high standards of service quality.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies.
Train, develop, and motivate staff members in food handling, customer service, food safety procedures, and operational best practices.
Monitor financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements; implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols across all areas of the restaurant and bar.
Handle shift management duties including scheduling staff shifts to meet business demands while optimizing labor costs.
Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, exceptional customer service, and guest satisfaction.
Conduct interviews for hiring new team members; provide ongoing training & development opportunities to enhance staff skills.

Requirements

Proven experience managing casual dining or sports bar establishments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated supervisory experience in fast food or quick service restaurant environments with team leadership responsibilities.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
Knowledge of food safety management practices and restaurant health regulations; previous experience with food safety certifications is preferred.
Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost management strategies.
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and lead teams confidently.
Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or banquet settings; catering experience is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of service excellence.
Hospitality management or culinary experience is highly desirable; previous assistant manager or managerial roles are preferred.
