Full Job Description

Schumacher Chevrolet Auto Group has an opening within our accounting office. We are looking for an experienced automotive bookkeeper. Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills. Must have the capability to work in a high volume, fast paced, environment.

Responsibilities include:

Costing and posting all sales deals accurately and timely in the dealer management system
Calculating and verifying all sales commissions
Maintaining and cleaning schedules related to the desk
Verify manufacturer sales programs and ensures that the appropriate incentives are applied.
Prepares lien payoff the financial institutions
Prepares contracts to financial institutions for funding
Schedule review, research & clearing
G/L account reconciliation with communication to departments
Follow-up with all factory incentives
Floorplan reconciliation
Bank reconciliations
Reserve statements

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Automotive accounting
Ability to communicate with management and sales personnel
Dealertrack experience helpful
