Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are currently seeking Seasonal Employees to join our team and get us to the finish line. Jojo"s country store is open from early April until Columbus Day weekend and we are seeking immediate help in our deli dept and as cashiers flexible schedule available all ages considered from 15-100! no experience needed As a Seasonal Employee, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various duties within our retail store. This is a temporary position that offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment. there is always something to do at Jojo"s!

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to facilitate smooth operations.
Sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
Support promotional activities and seasonal displays to enhance customer engagement.
Make sandwiches & subs, wait on deli customers, prep and handle bakery items and grab & go items including hot foods, coffee station, etc...

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interactions.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, during the busy season.
