Full Job Description

Position Summary

Mainline Environmental, LLC is seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting. This position supports the Mainline Family of Companies, including:

Enviroscience Consultants, Inc.
North American Environmental Training Institute (NAETI)

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying prospective clients, initiating contact, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings for the Business Development team. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, and is motivated by achieving measurable results.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Make 50–70 outbound cold calls daily to prospective customers across multiple industries.
Prospect for new business through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and market research.
Identify key decision-makers and develop relationships with prospective clients.
Qualify leads by assessing customer needs and identifying potential business opportunities.
Schedule qualified appointments and introductory meetings for the Business Development team.
Present and promote the professional services offered by the Mainline Family of Companies.
Build, maintain, and manage an active sales pipeline through consistent outreach and timely follow-up.
Accurately document all customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within the Company's CRM system.
Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Operations to support sales initiatives and lead generation efforts.
Maintain current knowledge of Company services, industry trends, competitors, and target markets.
Meet or exceed established goals for outbound calls, qualified leads, appointments scheduled, and pipeline development.
Represent the Company professionally while delivering exceptional customer service.
Participate in team meetings, sales training, and ongoing professional development.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in inside sales, business development, appointment setting, or outbound cold calling.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
Ability to confidently handle objections and engage prospective clients.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Experience utilizing CRM software such as HubSpot or similar platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling business-to-business (B2B) professional services.
Knowledge of environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, health and safety consulting, laboratory services, workforce training, or technical consulting services.
Experience working with manufacturing, construction, utilities, municipalities, government agencies, engineering firms, or industrial clients.
