Full Job Description

Job Summary

Dominion Physical Therapy & Associates is growing physical therapy practice with five locations, dedicated to providing exceptional care and improving the lives of our patients. As we expand, we are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. In addition to managing accounts payable for the practice, this role will also include property management responsibility, making it a unique opportunity for some with experience in both areas. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of accounting principles, familiarity with various accounting software. Also is a great opportunity to use your skills without sacrificing personal time. Duties

Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, and vendor payments
Maintain accurate general ledger entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks, and BILL
Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties as directed
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports as directed
Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing
Support property management accounting tasks, including expense tracking
Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data
Maintain detailed documentation of all bookkeeping activities for audit purposes
Acting as liaison with the CEO and accounting firm as directed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounts payable, property management accounting, or related bookkeeping roles
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, BILL or similar programs
Strong understanding of accounting principles including bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation
Knowledge of financial concepts related to corporate accounting environments
Ability to perform account analysis accurately and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry (including 10 key typing)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare reports accordingly
Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and external vendors
