About Us:

At Dave & Adam’s Card World, you’d be part of one of the largest sellers of Sports Trading Cards and Collectibles in the world. We run a high-volume e-commerce and distribution operation spanning the US and Europe. Our goal is to provide collectors around the world quality products at fair prices while also providing exceptional customer service.

Who we are looking for

Dave & Adam’s is looking for a Software Engineer to work on a cross-functional team on operational tools, front-end, infrastructure, or scripting. You will work with the Engineering team to plan, build and ship new features for multiple platforms and products. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants real ownership over systems that thousands of customers and collectors touch every day.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain code for our web-based applications, backend services, and distributed systems.
Collaborate with software and production engineers to design scalable services, plan feature roll-out, and ensure high reliability and performance for your products.
Conduct code reviews, contribute high-quality documentation and build robust test suites for your products.
Contribute to our ongoing migration of legacy systems onto modern infrastructure.
Collaborate with our infrastructure, data, e-commerce, and fraud teams to ship reliable, well-tested code.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in PHP, Python, Javascript, Vue, Nuxt, Tailwind, Postgres, and MongoDb.
Strong project management skills and experience using Jira.
Extra points for knowledge of C# and .NET, as well as experience with Microsoft Visual FoxPro.
You have experience in a highly iterative environment.
Ability and desire to learn new technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Previous experience managing projects and working with both internal and external stakeholders is a plus

Nice to Have

Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment processing, or high-volume transactional systems.
Familiarity with modern deployment and infrastructure tooling (cloud platforms, CI/CD, containerization).
Exposure to legacy-system modernization or data-migration projects.
Interest in the trading card, sports, or collectibles space.
