Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Echo Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cardiac imaging services. In this energetic environment, you will utilize advanced sonography equipment to perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures. Your expertise will support physicians in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions, contributing to improved patient outcomes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a collaborative and innovative medical setting.

Duties

Prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and cooperation
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of the heart’s structure and function
Monitor vital signs and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety
Assist with diagnostic evaluations by analyzing images, recording findings, and preparing reports for physician review
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration records

Experience

Proven experience in sonography with a focus on echocardiography or cardiovascular imaging
Strong understanding of medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation processes, and anatomy knowledge
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
