Full Job Description

We are seeking a Branch Manager for our Schererville, IN branch to join our team!

Please note that we are seeking individuals who are interested in a CAREER, not just a job.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the branch
Monitor bargaining union staff productivity and provide coaching and constructive feedback
Provide professional and efficient member transaction processing and correspond with members and staff to correct service/operational issues
Approve loan applications according to policy, serving as loan officer and check signer for the credit union
Be knowledgeable of the Collective Bargaining Agreement to ensure all union employees are being treated equitably and as agreed upon
Ensure the office displays a positive, professional and cooperative atmosphere for employees to work and members to conduct business
Perform outbound Business Development activities

Qualifications:

A positive attitude and mindset
Experience in management at a CREDIT UNION or BANK
A 4-year college degree in Business Management, Business Administration or prior work related experience
The ability to support and promote a positive work atmosphere. Teamwork is essential to our success and we are looking for individuals who demonstrate caring, compassion and the ability to get along with others.
Excellent problem solving skills. PROVEN ability to overcome obstacles and get results.
Strong PROVEN leadership qualities
PROVEN ability to lead in tough situations
