Lead the Charge in Auto Collections — Become Our Next Collections Manager!

We’re looking for an experienced Auto Collections Manager to take ownership of our collections department, drive performance, and lead a team to success. If you’re passionate about leadership, compliance, and delivering results while maintaining a top-tier customer experience—this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Collections Manager Job Responsibilities

Leadership & Department Oversight

Manage and drive the overall performance of the Auto Collections Department
Monitor, audit, and evaluate collection activity across all accounts
Lead weekly team meetings and set clear goals for individual and team success
Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing performance tracking for collectors
Participate in hiring, interviewing, and developing team members

Collections & Account Management

Conduct daily collection calls and help customers establish payment arrangements
Review accounts and analyze collection effectiveness and call quality
Pull and evaluate daily collection reports and performance metrics
Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve complex issues professionally
Ensure compliance with FDCPA and all relevant policies and procedures

Operations & Administrative Duties

Perform skip tracing, residence and employment verification
Manage repossessions, including notices, agency communication, and auctions
Oversee payment processing and daily deposits
Maintain GAP, warranty claims, and insurance follow-ups
Track paid-in-full accounts and coordinate title releases
Process refunds, vendor invoices, and coordinate with accounting

Team & Collaboration

Work closely with leadership to report delinquency trends
Assist team members with difficult accounts and problem solving
Maintain organized records and ensure accurate file maintenance
Support a positive, team-oriented work environment

Schedule: This is a Hybrid Position, M-F

Collections Manager Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $75k-90k. Compensation may vary based on experience and skills

Collections Manager Qualifications

5+ years of collections experience (auto collections preferred)
Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
High school diploma or GED (additional education/training a plus)
Strong knowledge of collections regulations (FDCPA, right-to-cure states, etc.)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Ability to analyze data, manage multiple priorities, and drive results
Comfortable working across multiple systems and software platforms
Valid driver’s license with insurable record

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
