Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Global Sourcing Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our continued growth.

In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and developing domestic and international supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and contracts, managing procurement activities, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services that support our manufacturing and distribution operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and skilled at building supplier partnerships that drive quality, reliability, and cost savings.

Schedule: On-site Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Overview:

Join our team as a Global Sourcing Specialist and play a key role in driving our procurement and supply chain initiatives. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and developing domestic and international supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and contracts, managing procurement activities, and coordinating logistics to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization while leveraging your expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, supply chain operations, and cost-saving initiatives.

This is an on-site position. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Duties:

Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers while monitoring supplier performance, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
Coordinate procurement activities with operations, production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging supplies, equipment, and services.
Forecast purchasing requirements based on sales forecasts, customer demand, inventory levels, production schedules, and historical purchasing trends.
Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring accurate reconciliation of vendor invoices, receipts, and procurement records.
Maintain sourcing and procurement tracking systems using Excel and other business software to monitor supplier activity, order status, lead times, and project milestones.
Research market trends, raw material pricing, freight costs, and supply chain developments to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate procurement risks.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through supplier negotiations, alternative sourcing strategies, and process improvements while maintaining quality and service standards.
Collaborate with operations, sales, finance, and warehouse teams to proactively resolve supply chain disruptions, inventory shortages, delivery delays, and vendor-related issues.
Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen Pacron's supply chain and supplier network.
Prepare sourcing reports, vendor performance evaluations, cost-savings analyses, and procurement metrics for management review.

Qualifications

Prior experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service agreements.
Experience evaluating supplier quotations, analyzing costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to perform calculations, manage data, forecast purchasing needs, and maintain accurate tracking systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business software used for procurement, inventory management, and reporting.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
