Job Title: Residential Construction Bookkeeper

Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $25–$30/hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our growing residential construction business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, be highly organized, and capable of managing financial records with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Maintain general ledger and job cost tracking
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Handle vendor payments and subcontractor documentation
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of bookkeeping experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting practices
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
Knowledge of certified payroll is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
