Full Job Description

Position Overview:

The objective of the Regional Sales Manager position is to achieve the revenue and profit plans/goals of Flo Trend LLC. Account and prospect base are primarily comprised of various industrial wastewater generators, wastewater brokers/transporters/consultants, construction contractors, consulting engineers, municipalities and manufacturer’s representative firms looking for de-watering solutions and chemical blending systems.

Essential Functions:

Utilize consultative selling skills to learn about the prospect’s business and the existing industrial or municipal wastewater needs of the customer. Understanding the decision maker’s individual and/or departmental needs so that they can develop additional applications for current and future Flo Trend products and services.
Prepare and present Flo Trend water / wastewater equipment proposals, presentations, price quotes, and RFP responses that demonstrate an understanding of the prospect’s needs, illustrating Flo Trend products and services as an answer to the prospect needs.
Review and provide applicable feedback / support on site plans and specifications to Engineers, Representatives, End Users, etc. Facilitate purchase order review with Flo Trend management to ensure terms and conditions are acceptable.
Must be able to produce a high volume of quotes for both new and existing customers.
Must ensure that all sales calls, emails and customer contact information are properly documented into CRM.
Work closely with Industrial/Municipal representatives on equipment sales and rental projects, as well as attend local, regional and national conferences / trade shows.
Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office tools, Adobe software, and ZOHO CRM.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or applicable industry experience.

Employment Experience and Skills:

Five years business-to-business sales experience preferably in the water / wastewater industry.
Must be able to demonstrate a consistent history of attaining monthly, quarterly and annual revenue plans/goals. -Must have had, and attained actual annual, quarterly and monthly revenue plans/goals.
Experience and comfort with, and an ability to utilize consultative sales skills, especially via telephone.
A strong understanding of the differences in the sales cycle and contacts of small, mid and large accounts.
Experience in prospect identification and development, and in keeping the sales opportunity pipeline full.
Experience and success in account penetration sales (departments/locations/divisions, and products/services).
Experience in creating and leading successful account growth and management strategies/plans including account penetration, service, maintenance and retention, as well as being the primary manager of the business relationship with the contact(s) and customer.
Demonstrated successes in short, medium and long business service sales cycles.
Experience achieving weekly sales activities guidelines (number of sales calls, proposals etc).
Exceptional listening skills
Strong proposal, presentation development, and delivery skills.
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.

Working Environment:

Other than the ability to lift up to 70 pounds for the removal of equipment covers, there are no special physical requirements for this position. This position will require up to 50% overnight travel. This position requires a current valid driver's license.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
