Full Job Description

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Houston Social Security Disability / Bankruptcy law firm seeks a receptionist / Intake Specialist (bilingual Spanish-English is a plus) for immediate hire. Duties will consist of the following:

This position will require the ability to answer multiple telephone lines and route the calls to the appropriate person. The individual will also be required to contact clients to update files and request medical records; submit evidence electronically; file, maintain contact with the Social Security Administration; United States Bankruptcy Court / Trustee Office; and general clerical duties. Must be reliable as to time and attendance.

In addition, This is a high call volume and fast-paced environment with room for growth. Previous experience in Social Security disability law or Bankruptcy is a PLUS.

Qualifications:

\* Excellent Communication Skills (telephone, in-person and written)

\* Detail oriented and independently driven

\* Availability to work at least 4 hour to 5 hour shift 4/5 days a week between (M-F)

\* Extremely organized individual with proven ability to multitask

\* Proficient computer skills; Word

\* Ability to handle difficult clients and situations calmly and professionally

\* Strong work ethic

\* Minimum High School Diploma

\* Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)

Again, Prior Social Security Disability and/or Bankruptcy experience is a plus!!

We have successfully assisted thousands of disabled adults and children with the frustrating process of obtaining Supplemental Security Income (SSI, Title XVI); Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI, Title II, DIB); Disabled Adult Child benefits (DAC); Child Insurance benefits; and Widows or Widowers benefits from the Social Security Administration (SSA). In selecting our firm for representation, you will have the benefit of 30 years of expertise from two social security attorneys, including SSA experience writing decisions for Administrative Law Judges at the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR).

We have successfully prepared , filed, and litigated hundreds of bankruptcy cases.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
