Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced outpatient Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures as well as EP device implants. This position requires a strong understanding of cardiology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work efficiently scrubbing all procedures.

Duties

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization procedures.
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with medical staff and documenting patient information.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to cardiovascular health.
Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures utilizing Merge Hemodynamic recording system, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
Maintain equipment and ensure that all tools are sterilized and ready for use before each procedure.

Experience

A background in Cath Lab is required.
Experience scrubbing coronary and peripheral procedures.
Proficiency in cardiac catheterization techniques is essential.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required.
