Full Job Description

Job Summary

A private family with a residence on Fisher Island and Boca Raton is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Housekeeper to oversee the daily care and maintenance of their home. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and impeccably organized environment.

While the family primarily resides in Boca Raton during the school year and travels frequently during the summer months, the Fisher Island residence must always be maintained in pristine condition and ready for the homeowners and guests at any time.

The family has one school-aged daughter and household pets that require daily care and attention. During the summer months, the family travels frequently, offering a more flexible schedule while maintaining responsibility for the home’s upkeep and pet care.

Responsibilities

Full-charge housekeeping of the residence
Daily cleaning, organization, and upkeep of all living spaces
Laundry, ironing, steaming, and meticulous wardrobe care
Daily linen changes and bed preparation
Household inventory management and supply replenishment
Meal preparation and light cooking as needed
Assisting in providing gentle oversight and encouragement regarding personal organization, self-care routines, homework, and household responsibilities
Maintaining a neat, organized, and welcoming home environment at all times
Pet care, including feeding, walking, and general oversight
Daily vacuuming to keep the home free of pet hair
Assisting with special projects and household tasks as needed
Preparing the residence for family arrivals and guest visits

Requirements

Must currently reside in or near the Miami area / or Boca Raton
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Minimum of 7 years of private household housekeeping experience
Extensive full-charge housekeeping experience with exceptional attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Stable employment history with outstanding verifiable references
Highly discreet, trustworthy, and professional
Genuine love of animals and willingness to provide daily pet care
Comfortable around dogs with no fear of animals
Flexibility to stay overnight with household pets on occasion when requested
Experience with daily ironing, steaming, garment care, and wardrobe maintenance

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
