Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Water Well Driller and take on an exciting role that combines technical expertise with hands-on construction work. In this position, you will operate specialized drilling equipment to create water wells that serve communities, farms, and industrial facilities. Your work will be vital in providing sustainable water solutions, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining efficient project timelines. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation while contributing to essential infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Operate drilling rigs and heavy machinery such as drill rigs(GEFCO 50k, GEFCO 330k, T3, Drillmax 250) to facilitate well installation processes.
Conduct site assessments to determine optimal drilling locations and prepare the site for drilling operations.
Use horizontal drilling techniques and other specialized tools to create water wells according to project specifications.
Manage and maintain equipment including Caterpillar machinery, graders, dump trucks, tankers, and paving equipment to ensure smooth operation throughout projects.
Follow safety protocols rigorously, including inspecting equipment for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with construction site safety standards.
Assist with the setup of construction sites by coordinating with team members on equipment placement and material handling.
Document daily activities, including drilling progress, equipment usage, and safety checks for project records.

Experience

Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, water trucks, tankers, and paving machinery.
Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and troubleshooting skills for routine maintenance or minor repairs.
Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on water well drilling or related infrastructure projects.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience driving excavators and other large machinery is highly desirable.
Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and water well installation procedures is a strong plus.
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols. Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference!
