Part-Time Foster Family Recruitment Specialist Needed in Rhode Island!

Schedule: Part Time Evenings and Weekends based on events scheduled

The Foster Family Recruitment Specialist works with our Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Program. This role performs a wide range of activities to actively recruit foster families for Groden Center Treatment Foster Care Program. This position also assists in creation of marketing/advertising materials and in the management of event activities for Groden Center Treatment Foster Care Program.

Education, Experience and Special Skills:

Bachelor's degree or MA, in Communications, Marketing, Social Work or another related field required
Foster care experience preferred
Previous experience in an intensive recruitment position, foster care agency, or other related work
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Certification or willingness to be certified as a Structured Analysis Family Evaluator (home study writer)
Certification in TIPS-MAPP leader training or willingness to become certified to train foster parents (preferred)
Basic knowledge of DCYF regulations for foster parenting
Experience with Canva and/or other design software preferred
