The Broadmoor Group is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with a strong 60-year history and a promote-from-within company culture.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Diagnoses, performs, inspects, delegates and monitors property-wide maintenance and repair items timely and effectively
Help maintain all items under warranty are being maintained and adhering to the warranty requirements
Maintain an accurate list of needed supplies for Maintenance Supervisor to order
Help maintain accurate inventory
Help maintain a well-organized and property stocked maintenance shop while adhering to safety standards and OSHA guidelines
Help maintain accurate records regarding service requests, EPA/OSHA standards, preventative maintenance, apartment make-ready status, work in progress, etc
Promote safe work practices
Help maintain key control at the property
Follow city/county guidelines for unit inspections
Help maintain all amenities and common spaces
Help maintain turnover of vacant apartments
Maintain strong rapport with residents while delivering a high quality of customer service by completing work orders within 24 hrs. and leaving notification in the apartments after each service performed.
Other duties as assigned

License(s) or certification(s) preferred:

Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own reliable transportation to fulfill all of the job’s functions.
EPA certifications Type I or Universal for refrigerant recycling- preferred
CPO- preferred

Customer service responsibilities:

Communicates clearly to residents and respond to resident service requests and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
Reads and/or listens to resident requests/complaints in a calm, supportive, and open manner.
You will have a clean and neat personal appearance. Uniform Provided.
You clearly demonstrate your amazing customer service skills by treating residents, coworkers, supervisors, and vendors with respect, answering questions in a calm and open manner from coworkers and residents. Responds sensitively to concerns/complaints about maintenance services and exhibits a sense of urgency with assigned work orders.
Attend and assist in resident activities and functions after hours as needed.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma
Computer literate and technology savvy preferred
Must assist and/or work during events as needed
Responsible for being on-call/taking emergency calls as needed seven days a week (on-call schedule will vary)
Property Management: 2 years (Preferred)
Maintenance Tech: 2 years
