Front Desk Receptionist

Location: Aberdeen, South Dakota
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and keeping a professional showroom welcoming and running smoothly. The successful candidate will be comfortable multitasking, have excellent communication skills, and take pride in maintaining an inviting environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide a welcoming first impression.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
Schedule appointments and maintain the daily calendar.
Receive, sort, and distribute mail and messages.
Assist customers with viewing showroom remnants and answer basic questions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable showroom throughout the day.
Water and care for showroom plants.
Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
Pick up and restock showroom supplies as needed.
Assist with advertising efforts and create or post social media content when needed.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office team.
Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills, including email and scheduling software.
Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional supply runs.
