TWW Enterprises is seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Groundskeepers at a 47-acre Gainesville, Florida vacant facility. You will maintain the grounds to a professional standard, operate lawn care and landscaping equipment, and support daily site monitoring during your shift. Functional Responsibilities
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the grounds, landscaping, and exterior condition of a 47-acre federal facility, and for supporting daily site monitoring during assigned shift hours. This position will:
- Mow, edge, and trim grass across the property on a recurring schedule, maintaining a finished grass height consistent with facility standards.
- Maintain landscape beds, shrubs, and planted areas throughout the campus, including weeding, mulching, and general upkeep.
- Trim low-hanging tree branches and bushes as needed to maintain safe clearance along walkways, roads, and building entrances. This role does not include tree removal or felling.
- Remove debris, fallen branches, litter, and other groundskeeping-related waste from the property on a continuous basis.
- Operate and maintain lawn care and landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools, in safe working condition.
- Thoroughly clean breezeways by removing cobwebs, bugs in lights, mopping floors, power washing, and wiping down doors and handrails
- Conduct routine vehicle or foot patrol of the grounds during assigned shift hours as part of daily groundskeeping duties, observing and reporting any site conditions, hazards, or irregularities.
- Take date-stamped photographs of grounds and landscaping conditions during the course of daily work to support ongoing site documentation.
- Compile and submit a daily report summarizing groundskeeping activities, areas serviced, and any notable site observations at the close of each shift.
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with supervisors regarding equipment issues, site hazards, or any irregularities observed during the workday.
- Adhere to all federal facility safety protocols and site-specific operating procedures.
- Support day-to-day site operations and perform other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued ID or valid driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- No current criminal charges or outstanding warrants.
- At least 1 years of hands-on experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping.
- Basic proficiency with a smartphone or camera for photo documentation.
- Ability to operate standard lawn care and landscaping equipment safely, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Demonstrated experience operating commercial-grade lawn and landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, and handheld or backpack blowers.
- Ability to safely operate gas-powered landscaping equipment, including proper startup, shutdown, and routine field maintenance procedures.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform sustained physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in commercial or large-property landscaping and grounds maintenance.
- Experience working at a federal, state, or government-operated facility.
- Experience with irrigation systems, tree and shrub trimming, and seasonal landscape maintenance.
- Experience operating a vehicle or UTV for patrol or site monitoring purposes.
- Familiarity with daily reporting, work logs, or similar documentation procedures.
- Pesticide, herbicide, or fertilizer application experience or certification.

Work Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs required.
- Must be able to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions, including heat, sun, and rain.
- Must be able to safely operate lawn care and landscaping equipment provided by the Company or, where applicable, personal or rented equipment as assigned.
