Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a wide range of building projects, from metal structures to residential and commercial renovations. Responsibilities
Erect metal buildings and frameworks with precision, following detailed blueprints and schematics
Perform concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation to create durable foundations and structures
Manage and assist with masonry tasks, including laying bricks, blocks, and stonework
Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, material handling, and structural assembly
Read and interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics to guide project execution
Use hand tools and power tools effectively for framing, carpentry, roofing, siding, and trim work
Conduct dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices to ensure proper fit and alignment
Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, restoration work, and new construction efforts
Assist with welding tasks where necessary for metal component assembly
Support site safety protocols by maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to safety guidelines at all times
Skills
Extensive experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and stucco application
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
Strong knowledge of construction management practices and site coordination
Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, framing carpentry (including woodworking), trim carpentry, and drywall installation
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites
Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels as well as power tools like drills and saws
Competence in taking precise measurements using tape measures and other measuring devices for dimensional accuracy
Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to measurements, material quantities, and project planning
Experience with metal stud framing and drywall installation for interior partitions or exterior walls
Knowledge of restoration techniques including plastering and siding replacement or repair
Ability to interpret construction plans accurately to ensure project specifications are met consistently
