Full Job Description

The Director of Sales is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing and coaching a growing team of outside sales representatives while serving as an individual contributor. This position will oversee sales strategy, accountability, reporting, forecasting, CRM management, and performance metrics to ensure consistent revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is an organized, data-driven sales leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, establishing accountability, and strengthening customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a growing team of outside sales representatives (currently five team members)
Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, and accountability measures across the sales organization
Drive new business acquisition while expanding existing customer relationships
Develop strategies to increase account penetration and revenue growth
Monitor sales pipeline activity and ensure consistent follow-up throughout the sales cycle
Manage lead organization and pipeline activity to maximize sales effectiveness
Generate, analyze, and present sales reports, forecasts, KPIs, and performance metrics
Ensure CRM accuracy and reporting (currently utilizing NetSuite CRM)
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and performance reviews
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales strategies and growth initiatives
Identify market opportunities and competitive trends
Travel to customers, industry events, and sales meetings as needed

Qualifications

7+ years of B2B sales experience with progressive leadership responsibility
Proven success managing and coaching outside sales teams
Strong background in new business development and account management
Experience creating sales dashboards, forecasting, KPIs, and performance reporting
Highly organized with exceptional leadership, communication, and accountability skills
Experience using CRM platforms, (NetSuite CRM)
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies
Willingness to travel as needed
Experience within wireless infrastructure, telecommunications, electrical distribution, or related industries

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of consultative, solution-based selling
Experience scaling sales organizations within a high-growth company
