Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Center Director to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role requires effective leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage with students, parents, and staff alike.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and policies.
Develop and implement educational programs that promote children's development and learning.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-quality team.
Foster positive relationships with parents and families, providing support and resources as needed.
Monitor the health and safety standards within the center to ensure a safe environment for children.
Collaborate with local educational institutions to enhance program offerings and community engagement.
Maintain accurate records related to enrollment, attendance, and student progress.

Experience

A director shall have attained one of the following qualification levels:

(1) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.

(2) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.

(3) An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

(4) An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 4 years of experience with children.
