Full Job Description

Join the Gateway Grizzlies Professional Baseball Team as a Game Day Team Member for the 2026 season! The Gateway Grizzlies are looking for team members that are motivated and enthusiastic to be with us for the upcoming season. This position is seasonal. The Grizzlies season runs from May to September. The Grizzlies also host extra events like company outings, college games, swap meets, tournaments, rodeo, car show, and so much more. These events run from March through October.

The Gateway Grizzlies are located in Sauget, IL and have been a part of the Frontier League since 2001. The Grizzlies made the playoffs in 2025 for the third consecutive year!

Qualifications:

Work effectively in a team environment.
Hardworking, respectful, and dedicated team members.
Positive work environment for all team members and fans.
Must be able to problem solve quickly and work efficiently in an intense environment.
Able to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks.
Must be willing and able to lift items up to 50 lbs. for set up and take down of games and events.
Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
Must be adaptable to work any position.
Dependable and open to all events and positions.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain a safe work environment for all team members and fans.
Ability to work all positions for any event as well as multiple positions at one time (concession stand as a cashier or runner is mostly what candidates will be working for events)
Follow dress code in our Team Member handbook
Perform janitorial duties throughout games or events such as taking out and picking up trash throughout the ballpark.
Assist with the preparation and the distribution of food and beverage items for customers.
Follow food guidelines to make sure everything is prepared correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the entire facility.
Interact with customers with a polite and positive attitude when taking orders or if fans have any questions or concerns throughout the event.
Bring or obtain certifications needed for certain positions (Illinois BASSET, Food Handler Certification, etc.)
Follow guidelines for opening and closing procedures.

Compensation:

$16 per hour starting compensation
Credit Card tips when working the concession stand for games or events
