Assistant Community Manager

We are seeking an experienced property management professional to support the Community Manager in the successful day‑to‑day operation of the community. This role plays a key part in leasing, resident relations, administrative functions, and overall daily operations. The Assistant Community Manager owns the full leasing lifecycle and assists with maintenance coordination, helping to ensure a positive, seamless experience for residents.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, an effective communicator, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

This position offers the opportunity to make a visible impact on resident satisfaction while contributing to the overall performance and success of the community.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests.
Assist the Community Manager in ongoing resident relations, addressing resident issues, enforcing the terms of rental agreements, and overseeing rental activities.
Be a hands-on leader, provide excellent customer service, and consistently meet and exceed goals with new prospects and current tenants.
Demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer service-focused demeanor about the company with coworkers, tenants, and vendors.
Lease to qualified prospects by showing available apartments when and if needed.
Assist with the lease renewal program with initial contact and follow-up with residents.
Routinely inspect the property and maintain accurate resident records.
Coordinate the collection and documentation of all revenues: Following the lease obligations of tenants and the owner's policy on accounts receivable.
Collect delinquent accounts promptly.
Communicate with the accounting department to ensure accuracy of rent roll and accounts receivable.
Use technological tools, including Microsoft Office software, Yardi Voyager, and CRM (an advantage), alongside effective communication styles to efficiently review tasks and ensure timely performance.
Other additional responsibilities as designated and assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

Passionate property management professional with 1-2 years relevant and demonstrable experience as an Assistant Community Manager with leasing experience.
Proficient in MS Office Suite with Yardi/CRM software a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Financial acumen with budgeting and fiscal reporting experience a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to maintain professionalism while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsive to feedback and adaptable to changing circumstances.
Adherence to dress guidelines and role policies and procedures.
Positive, personable, and team-oriented.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Demonstrates quick analysis, strategic thinking, and effective implementation.
Exhibits confidence, sound judgment, and unflappability.
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Physically capable of standing, sitting, walking, and lifting objects up to 20 pounds without assistance.

Schedule: FT: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm
