Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Director to join our educational leadership team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our school community by providing innovative instructional leadership, overseeing administrative operations, and fostering a thriving learning environment. The Assistant Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement curriculum initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with educational regulations. This position is ideal for a passionate education professional eager to make a meaningful impact on student success and school excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead curriculum development efforts across all grade levels, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices in childhood development and early childhood education.
Support strategic planning initiatives that promote school growth, instructional quality, and community engagement.
Manage school administrative functions, including budgeting, personnel management, and compliance with legal requirements such as special education law and educational regulations.
Facilitate professional development sessions for faculty and staff to enhance instructional practices, classroom management, and leadership skills.
Supervise school staff including teachers, support personnel, and administrative team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Oversee faculty evaluation processes, providing constructive feedback and supporting continuous improvement in teaching quality.
Coordinate fundraising activities to support school programs, facilities, and student resources while maintaining financial accountability.

Experience

Proven experience in school administration or as a school director with a strong background in education management and leadership roles within K-12 settings.
Extensive knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership, and early childhood education principles.
Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator or similar capacity.
Supervisory experience with school staff, including teacher evaluation and personnel management in educational environments.
Familiarity with legal frameworks governing schools, including special education law and childhood development regulations.
Strong background in facilitating professional development for educators within school settings.
Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements, team leadership, and stakeholder collaboration.
