Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Staybridge Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and vital communication hub of our hotel. This energetic role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth guest experience from check-in to check-out. Your organizational skills and positive attitude will help create a warm, efficient environment that guests remember and appreciate. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy assisting others, this position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, directing calls as needed
Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using office management software
Handle guest inquiries with clear communication, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions
Maintain accurate records through filing, proofreading, and updating guest information in computer systems
Support office management tasks such as calendar management, scheduling appointments, and organizing documents
Assist with clerical duties including typing correspondence, managing client communication, and supporting administrative tasks
Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills

Qualifications

Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse guest needs effectively
Proven experience in office management or front desk roles within hospitality or administrative environments
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other office software applications
Prior clerical experience involving phone answering, data entry, filing, and proofreading
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
Experience with multi-line phone systems and calendar management is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members in person and over the phone

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
