Full Job Description

About the Role

The Wildbirch Hotel is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead Crimson, our signature restaurant concept. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving culinary excellence, guest experience, financial performance, and team culture in a fast-paced, high-visibility F&B environment as part of a Joie de Vivre by Hyatt boutique property.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of Crimson, ensuring consistent quality of service, food, and beverage program execution
Manage P&L responsibility including labor cost, COGS, and revenue targets
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop front-of-house and support staff
Partner with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership on menu execution, guest experience standards, and brand consistency
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
Handle guest relations, including resolving escalated concerns
Collaborate with hotel leadership on events, banquets, and cross-departmental initiatives
Drive employee engagement and retention within the outlet

Qualifications

6+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience, ideally in an upscale or boutique setting
Strong financial acumen (P&L management, labor cost control)
Proven leadership and team-building skills
Alaska Food Worker Card and TAM certification (or ability to obtain)
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
