Full Job Description

Sacramento Oral Surgery is a privately owned oral surgery practice serving the greater Sacramento area. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Office manager to lead our Roseville office. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys interacting with patients in a private practice environment, and takes pride in ensuring the front office operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who enjoys solving problems, supporting their team, and creating an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and referring offices (in person, by phone, and through electronic communication)
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
Verify patient insurance benefits and maintain accurate patient information
Explain treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial responsibilities to patients
Collect patient payments professionally and accurately
Assist with insurance claims, billing, and accounts receivable follow-up as needed
Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure an outstanding patient experience
Help oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, ensuring workflows run smoothly and efficiently
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA
Assist with training and supporting front office team members as needed

Qualifications

Oral surgery front office experience preferred
Experience with OMSVision preferred
Experience with dental insurance, billing, and accounts receivable preferred
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Positive, energetic, professional, and team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
